FOR PARTS NOT WORKING! VTG Sears Beauty Salon Barbie Size Playset

For sale is this vintage Sears "Beauty Salon" playset. Comes as shown. Perfect size for 11.5 inch dolls such as Barbie, though the accessories are oversized. The set is
INCOMPLETE
-I know for sure that the chair is missing. It is also in
NON-WORKING condition
, read below for details. Would be great to use for parts to complete another set that still works or to customize.
All items are in noticeably used, played with condition with some flaws worth noting:
Items show wear from play such as scratches, scuffs, stray marks and wear to painted parts. The "mirror" has a lot of heavy scratching. The "hardware" on the sink has had the silver rubbed off over time
SET DOES NOT WORK!!
The metal contacts in the battery compartment and in other areas of the playset are heavily rusted and corroded. The plug for the hair dryer is in good condition so it may still work but I have no way of testing it so please purchase on the assumption it does not work.
The cardboard parts of the set are noticeably worn, including a stain on the bottom of the base (I think this is due to the corrosion in the battery compartment).
I have given the set a quick surface cleaning but there is still a lot of dirt hiding in the crevices so it could use a thorough cleaning.
The "white" pieces have discolored with age and have noticeable ingrained dirt to the surface.
May be other signs of use/wear. The above is not an exhaustive list of flaws. SOLD AS-IS. Please purchase with the understanding that the items are not perfect.

My home is smoke-free and pet friendly. However, this item was purchased secondhand so I cannot guarantee its past environment.
Due to lighting, camera and computer settings, items may appear to be a different color in person than it appears on the screen. Additionally, sometimes my camera does not capture flaws well so those may be more apparent in person as well.
